What is Step?

Step Aerobics is a full body workout that allows you to burn some serious calories whilst having fun doing so!

It is series of exercises and movement on, off and around the step board to the most popular Afro beats, Hip Hop and RnB music.

Hot Steppers’ step class is for ALL fitness levels allowing you to burn, tone and shape your booty and legs, while improving coordination and agility. Meet other fellow Hot Steppers and vibe with a supportive and friendly community.

It is a class that will leave you wanting more each week!

You don’t need to be a dancer to have fun in this class! We breakdown every move slowly and repeat it as much as needed before moving on!

As they say “Repetition is the mother of learning, the father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.”

The more you attend the class the easier the steps will be and you’ll be feeling like a pro Hot Stepper in no time! :)

  • Step aerobics gets the heart pumping and helps to boost the body's metabolism. It has all the benefits of a high-intensity cardio workout without putting stress on your joints. It improves overall fitness, reducing fat, and boosting your cardiovascular health. Commit to it and you can burn up to 600 calories a class!

  • Music is extremely important to the feel of every class. It sets the tone and adds to the vibes. We always workout to the latest AfroBeat/RnB tunes and from time to time we like to go way back and vibe out to the classics.

    From the moment you step through the doors, music is blasting and you’re instantly pumped from the jump!

  • This is a full body workout class with a strong focus on building and strengthening your core and lower body, especially toning those glutes! Try my class for one month and check out your progress, I’m certain you’ll notice a positive difference.

  • In class we go through the basic step moves and drill them to a range of different tempo tracks to help with memory and coordination. We also work towards a routine which incorporates dance with step movements on, off and around the step board which not only makes it fun and exciting each week but it also helps you stay agile and alert.

  • Once you step through those class doors, you are a part of the Hot Stepper Family. We step together, and we vibe together!

    It is a safe space for everyone and anyone who is up for trying something new, improving on their skills and for meeting other like minded individuals that just want to leave all their stress and worries on the step board.
